Is a Cracked Inner Door Glass Safe to Cook With?
The short answer

Why it does that
The panes are not a window. Each one holds back part of the heat and the air trapped between them does the rest, which is how the outside of a door stays touchable while the cavity is working. Crack one and that share falls to the others. Tempered glass fails in its own way as well: it holds together until it does not, and repeated heating is the load that finishes the job.
Until it is dealt with
Do not run a cleaning cycle: that is the hottest the door is ever asked to get. Do not pick at the crack or try to lift the pane; the stack is held in the door frame and comes apart in one operation, on a bench. Keep trays and racks off the glass.
